We're thrilled to announce a significant milestone in SUWU's journey of humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Introducing our brand-new Salesforce system, designed meticulously over the past year to revolutionize our relief operations. With this innovative platform, we're now positioned to enhance our scale and centralize our diverse tasks, all with a goal to serve our beneficiaries more efficiently.

From Humble Beginnings to Modern Solution

Before delving into the capabilities of our new system, let's step back and appreciate how far we've come. Earlier, we managed the flood of aid requests via a Google form. While efficient in its own right, it was akin to a juggler trying to keep too many balls in the air. Our diligent volunteers manually reviewed thousands of aid requests every month. These hardworking individuals sifted through each application, ranking them by urgency, making phone calls for verification, and noting down particulars for every individual or family requiring aid. As you might imagine, juggling all these responsibilities across multiple platforms not only paved the way for possible errors, like misspellings, but also frequently led to duplications.

Moreover, our zealous SUWU volunteers took on the enormous responsibility of manually tracking every grain of food, every essential item distributed, and even maintaining visual records in the form of photos and videos. This Herculean task often meant that information resided across multiple locations, leading to the potential risk of discrepancies.

Charting A New Course with Enxoo and Salesforce

Recognizing the inherent challenges, we collaborated with the fantastic team at Enxoo, based out of Poland. This collaboration proved to be a game-changer. Enxoo's dedicated team volunteered hundreds of hours, working hand in hand with us to ideate, plan, and develop a comprehensive Salesforce database. This robust system is tailored to mirror our unique aid processes, from inception to completion.

It's worth noting that Salesforce, recognizing the significance of nonprofit initiatives like ours, offers a complimentary suite of tools. With these tools and Enxoo's expertise, we've cultivated a platform that not only maximizes automation but also ensures that our operations align with our mission – to magnify our impact.

Our fantastic new system houses several modules, covering every facet of our operations. Whether it's tracking aid requests, managing volunteer data, overseeing aid fulfillment, monitoring expenses, or maintaining visual records of our relief efforts, everything finds its dedicated place. Moreover, with advanced reporting features, we can gain insightful snapshots of our operations, ensuring clarity and strategic direction.

What Lies Ahead

As we usher in this new era, our Salesforce system is in its final stages of beta testing. Once this phase concludes, we aim to introduce it to our entire volunteer network within the coming month.
